Bartram's Country is an area located in Jasper County, SC, near Pocoteligo. It’s named for being the place where naturalize, William Bartram, explored in the late 18th century. A good friend suggested I pull off the Coastal Highway 17 on the way to Florida to appreciate the swampy marshes. I anticipate a few paintings based on that stop.
